We understand that appearance is very important, and a smile is one of the first impressions that you make. This is why it is just as important to us. At Blackrock Denture Clinic we personalise a denture to suit your preferred aesthetics, whether that be perfectly straight, bright white teeth to replicate a veneered look, or something a little more characterized.
If you are considering investing in a new set of dentures, we encourage you to come to Blackrock Denture Clinic where you will be treated by the same Clinical Technician at every appointment, and I will use this information I gain from you to produce and design your new dentures to the specifications you request.
Partial dentures are a removable dental appliance that replaces the missing teeth in the mouth. You would need a partial denture for aesthetic reasons but more importantly for eating, talking and to help keep remaining teeth from drifting out of place or over erupting.
Implant Retained Dentures
Unfortunately, ill fitting dentures are very common. While in many cases, this can be overcome by the detailed processes we use when making impressions and fabricating dentures, there are some patients who have too little bone left to hold the bulk of a denture. It is usually seen in the lower jaw, and the best option in these cases is to have two implants placed towards the front of the lower jaw, and a denture made to click tight onto these implants.
Emergency Repairs & Relines
We are fully equipped for those unforgiving circumstances where a patient has unfortunately lost their denture and needs a new one ASAP! You can either drop it off for pick up later in the day, or collect it the next day, whichever is more convenient for you.
Clinical Dental Technician’s are masters in the fit and fabrication of your new dentures. They are not Dentists, and not Dental Technicians, but we are professionals who consult directly with patients and provide them with dentures and other dental appliances. We are trained to fill in medical history forms and diagnose problems with ill fitting dentures and have full indemnity insurance for all work carried out.
